It is the first Cadet College in Pakistan established in 1954 by the Government of the Punjab at the initiative of then the Commander-in-Chief, Pakistan Army, originally to serve as a feeder institution to the Services Academies. Cadet College, Hasan Abdal is a residential institution. It prepares the boys for the Secondary School & Intermediate Examination conducted by the BISE Rawalpindi & General Certificate of Education " O Levels" . The physical training is oriented towards preparing the boys for the armed forces. However they are free to pursue any field of study and take up any career after they leave the College.

Message by Principal

Cadet College, Hasan Abdal has been consistently producing outstanding results both academically as well as practically in the form of successes and achievements of its alumni. Therefore, apart from its old boys and their families there is always a large number of Pakistanis who wish to glean information about various aspects of the College. In order to address this widely felt need within the country and also keeping in mind the Pakistani Diaspora around the world, we have launched this first official Website of Cadet College, Hasan Abdal. It aims at providing comprehensive and useful packages of authentic information about the College as well as regular updates on the projects, events, activities, the faculty and policy changes as they occur in the course of time.
