First Year

The point of entry in this College is Class VIII only, however, a few vacancies occur in the Class XI in case some of our students leave the College after Matriculation for private reasons. These vacancies are filled on the basis of the result of written examination, interview and medical test.

Choice of Course in the Intermediate classes: Pre-engineering/Pre-medical groups only. Subjects of Arts/Humanities Group are not taught in the College Classes.

Eligibility.
    Only those candidates who obtain 80% marks (Grade A-I) or more in the Board Matriculation Examination (or equivalent) are eligible to appear in the written examination.

Written Examination: The Written Examination comprising following four papers based on Matriculation syllabus is held at Cadet College, Hasan Abdal in 2nd week of August normally:

    (a) English                            :   1 hour 30 minutes
    (b) Mathematics or Biology       :   1 hour 30 minutes
    (c) Chemistry & Physics           :   2 hours

Interview & Medical Examination:  Those who qualify the Written Examination are interviewed after the announcement of results. Medical Examination is also conducted on the same day.

Prospectus: Our College Prospectus contains the Application Form and gives detailed information about this institution. It can be obtained from College office by hand on cash payment of Rs.300/- and by post Rs.350/- (for foreign post Rs.400/-) through a crossed bank draft in favour of Principal, Cadet College, Hasan Abdal.  Last date for applying is during 1st week of August normally.
