ACHIEVEMENTS OF NEW PRINCIPAL

Cadet College Hasan Abdal has been lucky enough once again to have an energetic, decision-making, and dedicated person, Air Commodore (R) Tayyab Naeem Akhter, SI(M) as its Principal since 16^th November 2007. It is hoped that the college reaches its further heights in his tenure. He has already taken many steps to improve the status of the college since his arrival. Following are some of its examples.

1.      Improvement in Pay Scale of Staff Members

Very long awaited adjustment of allowances was made in the pays of staff members and more facilities were promised.

2.      Advancement in Computer Lab

·        Fast-speed Satellite Internet Connection

·        Replacement of P-2 by P-4 Computers

·        False Ceiling

·        Air-conditioning

3.      Provision of Cable Connection in Wings

All the 6 wings have been provided with Cable Connections on TV.

4.      Provision of Multimedia Projectors in Labs

·        Multimedia Projector in Biology Lab

·        Multimedia Projector in Computer lab

·        Ceiling Multimedia Projector in Chemistry Lab

·        Ceiling Multimedia Projector in Physics Lab

·        Multimedia Projector for Movie Club

 5.      Air Conditioning of different places

6.      Renovation of Guesthouse and Tennis Courts 

·        The Guesthouse has been renovated to meet the highest standards.

·        New boundary of Tennis Courts by wired-net 

7.      Making the Exchange Visits possible with RIMC Dehra Dun, India 

·        Visit of RIMC, India by CCH and APS Sports Contingents to participate in the Catchpole Centenary Celebrations

·        Visit of CCH by RIMC, APS and PPSS Sports Contingents to participate in the Catchpole Centenary Celebrations 

8.      Construction of New Houses for Staff Members 

The long awaited 4 new houses and garages for the staff members have finally been started and hoped to be complete by the end of the current year. 

9.      Renovation of Swimming Pool 

·        Installation of Water Filtration and Re-circulation Plant

·        Replacement of Tiles

·        Original Bricks and Texture work on outer walls 

10.  Renovation of Women Vocational Centre and Making it Functional 

Women Vocational Centre has been renovated to meet the latest needs and has been made functional to provide quality education to poor young ladies.

11.  New Toilets in College Mess 

New toilets of latest fashion have been constructed in the College Mess. 

12.  Renovation of Services Block

          The Services Block comprising of Tailor Shop, Barber Shop, Cobbler Shop, Sports Store and some offices, has been renovated.

13.  Installation of Complete Fan System in Courtyard of the College Mosque

            A complete fan-system has been installed in the courtyard of the college mosque to accommodate maximum of the people under fans.

13.  Construction of Green House

           A green house has been constructed in the college and named after an Ex-Abdalian Lt Col (Shaheed) Kamran Akbar,  S/O Mr. Ch. Muhammad Akbar (Ex-Teacher), who was martyred during the earthquake of October 2005 while on duty.

14.  Renovation of Chemistry Lab

15.  Construction of New Principal's Office

               A new Principal's office of latest design has been constructed at the entrance of Administration Block and the previous office is being renovated to convert it in to a Conference Room.
